Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk is reportedly developing plans to launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) startup that will rival OpenAI, the company he co-founded in 2015. Musk is assembling a team of AI researchers and engineers, including former DeepMind employee Igor Babuschkin, and has secured thousands of high-powered GPU processors from Nvidia to build a large language model. This move into the hot generative AI market will add yet another venture to Musk's diverse portfolio, which includes Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company.
